DJ C-Cut developed his love for music at the early age of 5. Back in 1985 he was inspired and infected by the song “Scorpio” from Grandmaster Flash.

That’s when he started listening to every DJ set on the radio. Time passed, he started saving some money and by the end of the 90’s his dream finally became reality: He could afford himself turntables and a mixer.

C-Cut won JamFM’s “Battle of the DJ’s” contest twice. He was the first to achieve this and was titled Germany’s Best DJ (JamFM is Germany’s biggest and best-known Black Music radio station). This success led to getting some on air gigs, broadcasted from their studio in Berlin.

In 2000 he got his first DJ-Residency at the Club Nightlife in Idstein. But his breakthrough as a DJ began 2001 when he joined B.I.G. Productions, Germany’s biggest HipHop-party organization.

Since then everything has been going smoothly. He’s been booked by many clubs such as the Natrix, Millenium, Cookys, Soundz, Tower Club 25th Floor, BMW-Haus, Nachtwerk...

More radiostations became aware of his talent so DJ C-Cut has been booked for radioshows all over Germany, including Planet Radio, JamFM, Radio Soundworx... DJ C-Cut also had his own radioshow at Radio Rüsselsheim, a weekly format with a length of 3 hours.

DJ C-Cut also enjoys gigging outside of Germany, he already rocked the crowd in Zurich (Switzerland), Schaffhausen (Switzerland), Luxembourg and Athens (Greece).

Highlights in his career were the shows he played alongside DJ Epps, DJ Kool, Fatman Scoop, Lumidee or 112. In 2002 he was booked as the Support-Act of singer Joe.

But the ultimate highlight was in the year of 2004 at the Sound of Frankfurt Festival, where he played alongside Jeyz & Azad in front of 15.000 people.

Since 2005 DJ C-Cut is the official Tour-DJ of BOZZ-Music Artist Jeyz.

And C-Cut is just getting started…
